HILT is a unique black light theatre based in the heart of Prague, combining visual illusion, UV light, silent humour and poetic storytelling. A live performance where darkness becomes light and imagination takes the lead.

After years of international tourings and two awards in India, HILT Black Light Theatre kicks off its Czech tour at the House of Culture in Čelákovice. The theatre show Images of Love blends black light theatre illusion, movement and music into a fast, wordless experience that swaps classic drama for a bold, modern stage language.

From Theodor Hoidekr (author & director): I wrote the song on our motto — “You have to enter the darkness to see the light.” It’s true on stage and in life. The clip alternates black-and-white moments of me at the microphone and at the editor (the everyday making of), with the film’s heart: colourful dance sequences by the HILT ensemble in full black light theatre mode. The groove stays simple and melodic — music made to be danced to by every generation.
